Feelings about AI
Here are 3 reasons why you shouldn’t use AI for your marketing:
AI essentially is grabbing other artists’ work and piecing together a jumbled figure with 3 thumbs
we can all tell immediately it was done by AI and not a human
it’s overused, has a generic look, unauthentic, etc. If you don’t invest in marketing for your business, then what does that say about your product or your values?
Be mindful that your customers may pick up on this.
People want to support work that was created by real people. Let’s support each other and keep authenticity alive in this ever-evolving digital age that we’ve all quickly adapted to as a human race. I mean, look at a timeline of human history. Google became big in the early 90’s, which is as long as I’ve been alive. Although it is kinda interesting to be a part of a generation where our childhood was filled of scraped knees, playing hopscotch, and riding our bikes around the neighborhood until the street lights came on. I didn’t have a smartphone until I could get a job & save up to buy one.
Honestly, great times.
If you’re in a pinch and need a flyer ASAP, I would encourage you to try Canva for a quick design. Otherwise, ease up on the AI slop, will ya? The same goes for asking it [not a human] questions, the same things you would normally Google. Or even writing your emails for you.
And for the love of Mary and Joseph, do not use AI for coming up with feedback to give your designer. We can tell and won’t want to work with you anymore.
AI is not a real human. We are! The professional creatives with actual real-life experience. Emotions, too!
That’s all I got for now. You can look up what these data centers are doing for the environment. It’s not the greatest.
Here, now enjoy some artwork I've done with my hands and designs I've done with my brain :)
With love,
